About Dr. Myers
Dr. Richard Myers has practiced dentistry for over 30
years. His dental degree is from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, and he has also taught dentistry at the University
of Michigan. He practiced in Ohio until 1996, when he moved west to Colorado to open a new practice.
Dr. Myers also continues his education through the prestigious Pankey Institute. As a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, he has completed its requirement of a minimum of 500 hours of continuing dental education. Dr. Myers is also a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Denver Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Myers has been able to fulfill a unique vision of dentistry. Together with his wife and assistant, Suzanne, he regularly participates in a "Doctors without Borders"-like program, which brings his dental services free of charge to people in countries without sufficient access to dental care. Past trips have included a week in Nicaragua, Haiti, and Costa Rica. "Doing this has been one of the most rewarding aspects of being a dentist," he says, "because it gave me a chance to learn about other lifestyles, and to not take my own for granted."
